Step 1: Prepare Materials 

Gather the necessary materials for your DIY 3D rose pop-up card. This includes cardstock, adhesive, scissors, and any additional embellishments you wish to include.

• Printer: PDF, JPG, PNG

• Cutting machine: SVG, DXF

Cut/print board: A4 paper size

Heavy Cardstock

• Floral petal, leaves: 120gsm

• Envelope: 200-300gsm

• Inner card, letter: 180- 200gsm

• Card cover: 250-350gsm

Glue solutions

• Hot glue sticks

• Papercraft glue

• Wooden glue (recommended)

 Step 2: Prepare Patterns

Make the shape for the Petal & center layers, leaves

• Fold then use glue to fix the shapes

Step 3: Special Rose Center

Learn the technique for creating a stunning rose center that adds depth and realism to your pop-up card. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the template.

• Glue 2 big single petals to Petal 3

• Then glue the next two sets of small petals

• Glue the Rose center to complete (same spot with big petals)

• Make the petal shape for 4a,b,c,d petals

• Use 2 single petals (small) to make the Rose center

Step 4: Rose Pop-up Assembly

Assemble the pop-up mechanism of the rose using the template as your guide. Take your time and follow each step precisely to achieve a correct result.

• Glue the Rose layers together

• Make the Inner Card

• Glue the Rose to the Inner card (Purple)

Step 5: Assemble the Layers

Attach the various layers of the card, and pay attention to the arrangement and placement of each element.

• Glue the result step (4) to the Card layer (Red)

• Insert the Letter

• Assemble the Cover Layers (envelope)

Step 6: You're done

• Glue the Cover Layer to the result step (5)

• Decorate with leaves or skip

• Use the Heart (from the Inner card) to seal the greeting card or tie it with the thread and Rose tag

Don't forget to write your greeting before sealing the card. Express your sentiments by writing a heartfelt greeting on the inside of the card. Make it personal and meaningful to the recipient.
